On occasion, one man’s misfortune is another man’s good fortune. That was certainly the case during Monday night’s second round of USAC Indiana Midget Week at Circle City Raceway in which three different drivers led the last full lap they completed in the feature.

Hampton and Kinser Win Hoosier State FAST Events
It was home state racers Zach Hampton and Kraig Kinser scoring the popular wins. Hampton won out over a 26-car field Friday night at Circle City Raceway. A night later, it was Kraig Kinser winning the rain delayed main event at Montpelier Motor Speedway against a 23 car field of racers.

FAST Heads West For Hoosier State Double
With four races already in the books for the 2023 season, Rawson, Ohio’s Ricky Peterson leads to Ti22 Performance FAST On Dirt point standings. However, Evans City, Pennsylvania’s Brandon Spithaler won the last race at Knox Raceway and closed the gap.

SWANSON SWIPES USAC SPRINT WIN AT CIRCLE CITY
Swanson, originally hailing from Anaheim, Calif., wheeled his Team AZ Racing/Apache Transport – Stratis Construction – USW Cat Construction/DRC/1-Way Chevy to the lead on lap 12 past Robert Ballou, then sped away to a convincing 2.114 second margin of victory at the quarter-mile dirt oval to earn his first USAC points race victory of the season.
