Shane Stewart wins the Knight Before the Kings Royal

Shane Stewart has found himself behind the car of Donny Schatz a lot this season with the World of Outlaws. Friday the roles reversed as Stewart held off Schatz during a double file restart with six laps to go to win the Knight Before the Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway. The victory was Stewart’s fifth of the 2015 season.

Race fans are always on the look out for a unique or good deal on a souvenir to take home during their trip to Eldora Speedway for the Kings Royal. One of the best places to get both is the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum auction on Saturday in the multi-purpose building outside of turn three at 2:30 p.m.

TJ’s Prediction: Royal is Schatz’s to Lose…

Donny Schatz is having a season for the ages. Not since the days of the prime of Steve Kinser and Doug Wolfgang has a driver rolled through the sprint car world like Schatz has this season.
