J&J TEAMS WIN AROUND THE GLOBE

Sprint car action on the final weekend of February resulted in a familiar trend with J&J Auto Racing teams coming home victorious. Defending All-Star champion, Tim Shaffer, won a pair of ASCS events in Florida while Ian Loudoun continued J&J’s dominance at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway (TPCR) in Australia.

Rocket Hockett – Close to Another Crown!

Jesse “The Rocket” Hockett was close to gaining a second crown in a row at the Ronald Laney Memorial “King of the 360’s” at East Bay Raceway Park near Tampa, Florida last Saturday night. He would settle for second in a successful first weekend back to open the 2010 season. He will now get things ready for the Devil’s Bowl Speedway and Lucas Oil ASCS action on March 19 and 20.

JASON MEYERS WINS A WILD ONE IN LAS VEGAS

Jason Meyers started 18th, held off a last-lap move by Steve Kinser, and won the Las Vegas Super Sprint Classic World of Outlaws race at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was the furthest back a winner had started in an Outlaws feature event.

Fisher Files – A “Different Season” Ahead for Josh!

Nineteen-year-old Missouri driver, Josh Fisher, is coming off another sensational year, and is hoping that by spreading his wings a bit in 2010, that the best is yet to come. The Smithton resident will be running several 410 shows for Illinois car owner, Rick Northrup, in addition to a bigger schedule with his family owned 360 sprint car. The first race awaits him at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas on March 19 and 20.
