FENWICK FLYER: SUCCESSFUL SEASON
“The Fenwick Flyer” Tom Huppunen and Fred Cade combined their efforts for the 2009 racing season and enjoyed more success than even they predicted. With Tom at the controls of the Cade-owned Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel Gaerte-powered Maxim chassis #12c, the team collected six feature wins and nine top five finishes on their way to the Corr/Pak Merchandising Sprint Car division season championship at Ohsweken Speedway.

Despite the odds stacked against him during the 30th running of the Pacific Coast Nationals on Sunday night Elk Grove, CA sprint car driver Kyle Larson was able to fight through adversity and tally a 13th place finish at the Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway.

After nearly a month away from racing, Grain Valley, Missouri’s Brian Brown is ready to spring back into action at USA Raceway near Tucson, Arizona this weekend! The Western World Championships will be held this Thursday through Saturday with $15,000 going to the winner of the Lucas Oil ASCS National finale on Saturday night.

Wednesdays with Wayne – Corralling Cowtown!
Wayne Johnson was able to garner his second feature win in eight days, as he took one of the preliminary features at the November Sprint Shootout last Friday night. The Knoxville, Iowa driver was able to lock himself into Saturday’s final event at the Cowtown Speedway south of Kennedale, Texas. An ill-handling car was a handful on Saturday night, but Wayne registered a top five run. This weekend, he’s heading to Tucson, Arizona with ASCS for their three-day Western World event.

Ryan Partin wins Top Gun Sprint Series Championship
On Friday, November 13, 2009 at Ocala Speedway, Ryan Partin was officially crowned the 2009 Top Gun Sprint Series Champion after coming home fourth in the night’s feature. Partin came into the series final race of the year with a slim eight point lead over second place driver Mike Schroeder.
