2016 MSCS schedule released

The 2016 Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series scheduling process was concluded this week and the resulting schedule is ready to release. This season’s schedule will include 18 MSCS sanctioned events to be held at seven different speedways. Reutzel named 360 Driver of the Year by Sprint Car Poll

Aaron Reutzel of Clute, Texas, was voted the 2015 “Driver of the Year” by the North American 360 Sprint Car Poll voting panel of media members, promoters, sanctioning officials and manufacturers for the first time. Ruetzel, the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) national tour champion, earned seventeen (17) of the twenty-one (21) first-place ballots cast in the year-end poll. Robert Ballou, originally of Rockin, California, today was unanimously named the 2015 “Driver of the Year” by the North American Non-Winged Sprint Car Poll voting panel of media members, promoters, sanctioning officials and manufacturers for the first time. The United States Auto Club (USAC) point champion earned all sixteen (16) first-place ballots cast in the year-end poll. Hoffman Auto Racing fields 2016 Little 500 effort with Kody Swanson

After the pavement car sat for 5 years, in 2014 we dusted off the car and decided to run the Little 500 again. The decision was made after Bryan Clauson asked if we were interested. Using his tremendous talents and the crew working extra hours , while running the entire USAC National Sprint Car Series, we were able to sit on the pole and led the race before being taken out twice by lapped cars. I have always wanted to win this race and when the opportunity presented itself to have Kody Swanson in the car , we decided to give it another go.
