It was a bumpy start to sprint car driver Josh Fisher’s 2011 campaign, but he came away from the LA Raceway in LaMonte, Missouri knowing that he has a fast racecar.

Josh Fisher made his first career trip to the Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. The track, affectionately known as “The Ditch”, hosted the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series last Friday and Saturday night at the “Rock ‘N Roll 50”. The Smithton, Missouri driver was running Harley Van Dyke’s #5H in the top five in Friday’s prelim before getting tangled with another car.

Josh Fisher competed at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Harley Van Dyke’s #5H last weekend, coming home with a 15th place finish in the 61-car Lucas Oil ASCS National field. That came on the heels of finding out that he was officially named the track champion at the Lake Ozark Speedway. This weekend, the Smithton, Missouri driver will travel with the #5H team to the “Rock ‘N Roll 50” at the Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Josh Fisher of Smithton, Missouri will pilot Harley Van Dyke’s #5H at the Lucas Oil ASCS National shows at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri this Saturday night, and at the “Rock ‘N Roll 50” scheduled for Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis on October 1 and 2.

Josh Fisher is definitely on a roll at the Lake Ozark Speedway near Eldon, Missouri, as he captured his third feature win of the year there in convincing fashion last Saturday night.

Josh Fisher held his own against the best the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series at his home track, Lake Ozark Speedway near Eldon, Missouri. The twelfth place finish in the Daniel McMillin/Jesse Hockett Memorial after coming through the B, rang a little hollow with him, however, as the car was a bit down on power. The good news was the problem was found later, and he looks forward to another week at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois and back at LOS.

It was victory at last for Josh Fisher last Saturday night at the Lake Ozark Speedway near Eldon, Missouri. A sweep of the nights events also included wins in the heat and the dash.
