Extremely wet grounds and forecasted additional rain have led to a postponement of tonight’s AMSOIL USAC National Sprint car race at the Kokomo Speedway.
All three AMSOIL USAC National Sprint races rained out this past weekend have been rescheduled. The weekend of April 29-30 and May 1 will restore the “tripleheader” concept, with the order of events remaining the same as originally planned.

Scotty Weir and Dave Darland closed out the 2010 Kokomo Speedway season in fine style by winning the Sprint and Midget portions of the Kokomo Klash Friday night.
Dave Darland was able to take advantage of his outside front row starting position and held off multiple challenges by Bill Rose and Tony Elliott to win the feature Sunday night at the Kokomo Speedway on our Nation’s Independence Day in front of a large crowd. Darland drove his father Bob’s Competition Welding, Beachy Engine’s, Thrifty Muffler, Print Express, Pennzoil, Henry’s Marathon, McCreary Tires sponsored car to the convincing victory.
