McCarl wins NSL feature at Knoxville

Terry McCarl and Danny Lasoski have dueled at Knoxville Raceway for four different decades. The rivalry came to life again Saturday night on Aspen Aire Night featuring the FVP National Sprint League. This time, it was McCarl who came out on top on “Heroes Night” on the Fourth of July. The Altoona, Iowa native won his 55th career feature at Knoxville, which is fourth all-time in the track’s storied history. It was also Twin Features Night for the 360 class at Knoxville, and Jon Agan and Justin Henderson picked up wins in that class. […]

Lasoski scores fourth NSL victory of the season

Danny Lasoski brought home his fourth win of the year with the FVP National Sprint League Friday night at Huset’s Speedway near Brandon, South Dakota. The win was worth $5,000 in the series first ever appearance at the 3/8-mile bullring, and was also his third in a row with the NSL. “Road to Knoxville” to Pay $10,000 to win finale at I-80 Speedway

What was once a one-night show for the FVP National Sprint League at I-80 Speedway has now become a huge two-day event! Fortune smiled a bit on Dover, Missouri’s Danny Lasoski Thursday night at the Saint Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Missouri. After shattering the track record in time trials, it looked like he may not get out of his heat race until Bryan Clauson spun, giving him the final transfer spot. Jerrod Hull broke a Jacob’s ladder while leading the feature when he tagged a spun lapped car.
