The season finale for the Capital Region Sprintcar Agency scheduled for Saturday night at the Orange County Fair Speedway was rained out. The event will not be rescheduled. With the cancellation Kyle Smith won the 2016 CRSA championship.

Port Royal Speedway has canceled its October 22 Open Wheel Madness racing program due to inclement weather for late season racing. With a forecast for lingering rains early on Saturday giving way to an intense, biting wind and temperatures expected to top out around 50, the reluctant decision to cancel was made late Friday afternoon.
