For the second weekend in a row, Mother Nature derailed TBJ Promotions’ first event of the season – the Eagle Motorsports Rock ‘N Roll 50.

After making the tough decision to postpone his first TBJ Promotions event of the season because of rain, Tony Bruce Jr. then had the difficult task of finding a dry place to race.

As soon as he zipped beneath the checkered flag, Seth Bergman could breathe a sigh of relief.

Finally, the goal was accomplished.

Taking on a stout field at the 81 Speedway in Wichita, KS for the NCRA opener, Tony Bruce, Jr had rear end troubles in the feature event that ultimately cost him a top finish.

A bad weather system, and a wet track were not a winning combination over the weekend, as Tony Bruce, Jr scored a 13th place finish on Friday night, before Saturday’s event was rained out.

Getting off to a strong start last weekend in Tucson, AZ, Tony Bruce, Jr and his team had high hopes heading into the Cocopah Cup at the Cocopah Speedway, however the Owasso, OK driver was a tick off all weekend, leading to a rather disappointing results.

Though he didn’t score a victory, or event land on the podium to open up his 2013 campaign, Tony Bruce, Jr left Tucson with a smile of his face and a ton of confidence.

Kicking off the season by standing on the front stretch at the Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, AZ, it was only fitting that Tony Bruce, Jr closed out the 2012 season by again standing on the front stretch at CSP as he scored a third place finish during the Western World Championships.

Fresh off of an off weekend taking in the Sprint Cup Series race in Texas, Tony Bruce, Jr and his Bruce Racing team returned to action for a pair of races in the Southwest with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.

Tony Bruce, Jr had aspirations of winning his third Short Track Nationals title over the weekend, however the weekend didn’t go as planned and he found himself in the Saturday night C main event.

Following a week off, Tony Bruce, Jr and his Bruce Racing team were back in action over the weekend for three nights of action during the LoneStar Nationals at the LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore, Texas.

Spending the weekend at the Lucas Oil Raceway in Wheatland, MO for the Hockett-McMillan Memorial, Tony Bruce, Jr had a strong weekend as he scored a second place finish on Friday night, and followed it up with a sixth place effort on Saturday night.
