USAC Returns to Action Packed IndyCar Event at Milwaukee Mile in 2011
USAC racing returns to the Milwaukee Mile on Father’s Day 2011. The Silver Crown Championship and Mopar National Midget Series will cap Saturday race and IndyCar qualifying action on the IZOD IndyCar Series weekend, June 18-19, 2011. The IZOD IndyCars race on Sunday, June 19, 2011.

O’Reilly Raceway Park officials in conjunction with key personnel from the United States Auto Club (USAC) and the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards announced today that both series will be featured during Thursday night of the 2011 Kroger SpeedFest on July 28th.

VENTURA’S “ARP FALL CLASSIC” CANCELLED
The inability to complete necessary pit and raceway preparations at the Ventura (Calif.) Raceway prior to this Friday, following weekend rainfall in addition to the massive construction project in the outer pit area, predicted additional rainfall Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning and raceway and fairgrounds staffing problems over the holiday weekend, have led to cancellation of this year’s “ARP Fall Classic” USAC races at the southern California oval.

AT LEAST 4 FORMER WINNERS SET TO DO BATTLE IN THURSDAY’S “TURKEY NIGHT GRAND PRIX”
At least four former winners of the “Turkey Night Grand Prix” USAC Mopar National/Western Midget race are planning to compete in Thursday’s 70th running of one of America’s most revered short-track races.

POSSIBLE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26 RESCHEDULING AT VENTURA FOR “ARP FALL CLASSIC”
Saturday’s “ARP Fall Classic” USAC races at Ventura, Calif., which have fallen victim to weather, may be rescheduled for Friday night, November 26 at the 1/5-mile dirt oval. If rescheduling is achieved, the event will include the USAC Mopar Western Midgets, Western Ford Focus and Western Focus Young Guns but will NOT include National points.

Forecasts for heavy rain in Southern California, expected to begin today and continue through Sunday, have conspired to force cancellation of Saturday night’s “ARP Fall Classic” USAC racing program at the Ventura (Calif.) ARP FALL CLASSIC” SATURDAY AT VENTURA RACEWAY
Alex Schutte of Redding, Calif. will lead the USAC Mopar Western Midgets into this Saturday night’s “ARP Fall Classic” National/Western showdown at the Ventura (Calif.) Raceway. Schutte finds himself 31 points ahead of former leader Cory Kruseman after finishing fourth in last Saturday night’s 30-lap “Pacific Coast Nationals” feature at the Gropetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif. Kruseman finished 18th at Tulare.

CLAUSON, KRUSEMAN LEAD MIDGETS TO TULARE SATURDAY
Saturday’s 31st “Pacific Coast Nationals” at the Gropetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif. will feature the USAC Mopar National/Western Midgets as part of a “doubleheader” also showcasing the AMSOIL USAC National and USAC/CRA Sprints.

The USAC Mopar National and Western Midgets square off November 13 at Tulare (Calif.) Thunderbowl Raceway as part of this year’s “Pacific Coast Nationals” program also featuring the AMSOIL USAC National and USAC/CRA Sprint cars. Bryan Clauson leads the 2010 National standings entering the event but the real drama is expected to come in the battle for the 2010 Western Midget crown, where three drivers are separated by only 10 points!
