Night number two of the Coca-Cola Sprint Classic at Eldora Speeddway fell victim to adverse weather conditions Saturday evening.

Friday night’s USAC National Sprint Car Series event at Eldora Speedway was canceled due to unsafe racing conditions. Officials worked on the track well past 10:00 trying to get surface into suitable racing condition, but were unable to do so.

COONS TEAM TAKES 13TH “FUN AT FASTIMES”
USAC Triple Crown driving champion Jerry Coons Jr. of Tucson, Ariz. anchored the winning team in Saturday’s 13th Annual “Fun at Fastimes” three-hour karting enduro in Indianapolis, Ind, saluting the life of the late Crocky Wright and benefiting the USAC Benevolent Foundation.

EXTREME MUFFLERS ANNOUNCES USAC WEST COAST 360 SPRINTS CONTINGENCY
Extreme Mufflers has announced a contingency program for competitors with the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series for 2010. Extreme will award a $100 product certificate to the drivers that win the First Heat Race of every program. To qualify for the contingency, competitors must display the Extreme Muffler decal on their car. The decals will be available at the racetrack and distributed by series officials.

KASEY KAHNE SEEKS 41ST USAC VICTORY AT HICKORY
Kasey Kahne hopes his driver Brad Sweet can continue his 2010 USAC Mopar National Midget success when the series makes its inaugural appearance at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway March 24-25. A win would be Kasey’s 41st in USAC competition as a driver or a car owner.
