Weather Forecast Looking Good For Qld Sprintcar Tri-City Shootout

After record rain falls around the State throughout March that caused two Sprintcar meetings to be abandoned at Titan Garages Brisbane International Speedway, the weather forecast for Saturday night’s Qld Sprintcar Tri-City Shootout at Archerfield is looking good with the Bureau of Meteorology website reporting fine conditions for the South East corner of Qld right through the Easter long weekend.

Likewise, the weather report for Maryborough today (Good Friday) and Toowoomba for Sunday is similar which means all three nights of the Tri-City Shootout should be run under clear skies; definitely great news for racers and fans heading out to track for the Easter Sprintcar races in Qld.

This weekend’s event at BIS kicks off eight nights of Sprintcar racing between now and the first weekend in June, with the Qld Sprintcar Tri-City Shooutout, the final five Rounds of the Qld Speedway Spares Series and the two night Qld Sprintcar Title still to run prior to the annual winter break in racing.

Saturday night’s Sprintcar races at Archerfield are part a big Easter show at the Speedway with the Qld Titles for Ford v Holden and Brisbane Sedans, Wingless Sprints, Stock Cars and Outlaw Sedans also on the program, plus there’s a huge Fireworks show for the kids.

Patrons still holding tickets from the rain-affected March 20 event are reminded that those tickets are valid for any BIS event up until April 24 (subject to ticket price variations). General Admission gates open from 4:00pm, main program from 6:00pm.
