The 2010 Indianapolis Speedrome Regional Midget Series concludes this Wednesday night, honoring 1981, 1986 and 1987 Speedrome Midget Champion Mack McClellan, whose 19 career Speedrome wins rank fourth on the USAC feature winners list at the storied oval.
Champions of the 2010 Speedrome series will be crowned Wednesday, with feature events planed for Regional Midgets, Ford Focus Midgets and Young Guns.
Dillon Welch of Noblesville, Ind. passed Chris Phillips on lap six and went on to win last Wednesday night’s “Ted Hines Night” 50-lap USAC Regional Midget race at the Indianapolis Speedrome in his Ribwear/Ford Racing Beast/Ford. Series point leader Dalton Armstrong took second ahead of Kyle Hamilton, Shannon McIntosh and Mike Larrison.
Dalton Armstrong’s Regional Midget point slead stands at 50 points over Welch heading into Wednesday night’s racing program.
