Hartford, OH — Overnight and morning rains coupled with a forecast of continuing showers throughout the day has postponed the “Friday Night Thunder” kickoff for the second straight week. The opener will now be held on what was to be the second scheduled bi-weekly “Friday Night Thunder” program on April 15. Friday night racing has also now been scheduled for April 22 to account for the rainouts.

The weather is still looking dry and mild for Saturday’s “Steel Valley Thunder” opener as the Barris Supply FASTRAK Late Models will be joined by the Governor Insurance Agency Big-Block Modifieds, Ainsley 500 Heating & Cooling E-Mods, Gibson Agency Stock Cars, and the Presidential Lawn Care Mini Stocks. Pits open at 4 p.m. with the grandstands at 5 and racing set for 7.
