After unexpected thunderstorms washed out last Saturday night’s “Steel Valley Thunder” program, Sharon Speedway will look to return to racing this Saturday night (June 27). The “Super Series” event presented by Bala Management will feature the Hovis Auto & Truck “410” Sprint Cars for $4,000 to-win and the Hovis Big-Block Modifieds for $2,000 to-win.

After a soggy start to the 97th anniversary season, Sharon Speedway will look to complete the fourth straight program this Saturday night (June 20) in a “Steel Valley Thunder” event.

Sharon Speedway will try for the sixth time to kick-off the 2026 racing season this Saturday night (May 30) with a “Super Series” event presented by Bala Management. The 97th anniversary season opener will feature Western PA Speedweek for the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars along with the Hovis Big-Block Modifieds and the Gibson Insurance Agency Crown Vics.

The 97th anniversary season opener will include a pair of headlining divisions in the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars and Big-Block Modifieds along with the Alcon Mechanical Econo Mods and the Gibson Insurance Agency Crown Vics.

Due to overnight and morning rain, the lack of sufficient drying conditions throughout the remainder of the day, and temps falling into the 40s by race time, Saturday’s scheduled opener at Sharon Speedway has been cancelled.

Sharon Speedway is set to kick-off the 2026 racing season this Saturday night (April 25) in a “Super Series” event presented by Bala Management, which if completed, would mark the earliest opener since 2017.

With the 97th anniversary racing season opener nearing on Saturday, April 25, Sharon Speedway is excited to announce the addition of numerous theme nights that will be surrounded around the return of the “Willy’s World” Kids Club throughout 2026.
