RAIN WASHES OUT BALA “SUPER SERIES” TUNE-UP EVENT FOR “LOU BLANEY MEMORIAL” ON SATURDAY
For the first time in six weeks, Mother Nature took the checkered flag on Saturday at Sharon Speedway. Substantial morning rain coupled with thunderstorms in the forecast throughout the afternoon and evening resulted in the cancellation of Saturday night’s Bala Management “Super Series” event.

JOHN MOLLICK 4-FOR-4 IN RUSH SPRINTS AT SHARON
It wasn’t easy, but John Mollick remained undefeated at Sharon in the RUSH Sprint Car division. Mollick started seventh, took the lead on lap three from Brian Cressley, then had to hold off a valiant effort by ninth starting Blaze Myers in the 20-lap feature for his fourth win in four races.

John Mollick wins RUSH sprint car feature at Sharon
John Mollick overtook Zach Morrow on lap 12 and fended off Arnie Kent for the second straight race to win the caution-free 20-lap RUSH Sprint Car feature that was timed in 6:45.310. Mollick is now three-for-three in 2025 at Sharon and has won six of the last seven features at the Hartford, Ohio oval dating back to last season.

Rain Postpones World of Outlaws at Attica to Saturday, Sharon Canceled
Due to excessive rain falling throughout the week, Friday’s World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series program at Attica Raceway Park has been postponed to Saturday, May 24, to allot track crews to adequately prepare the facility for racing. Additionally, the event at Sharon Speedway has been canceled due to the facility taking too much rain to be ready in time to host an event this weekend.

Memorial Day Weekend Brings World of Outlaws to Three Ohio Tracks
The Greatest Show on Dirt is back on U.S. soil following a return to Canada, and all eyes are on Ohio. Memorial Day weekend is all about the “Buckeye State” for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series. Three nights of racing are set to take the country’s best Sprint Car drivers to three different Ohio ovals in three different regions of the state.

WORLD OF OUTLAWS SPRINT CARS SET FOR 1ST OF 2 APPEARANCES IN 2025 AT SHARON THIS SATURDAY
Sharon Speedway will look to complete its third consecutive program to open the 96th anniversary season this Saturday night (May 24) when the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series comes to town. Warmups will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by qualifying and racing. The one-division program will allow fans access to the racers in the pit area following the completion of the event.

Dale Blaney grabs Sharon checkers
Sharon Speedway withstood an afternoon heavy rain storm then waited out early evening light showers that delayed the program one-hour on Saturday night, but in the end was able to complete the second straight program to open the 96th anniversary season.
