Atlanta, GA – (June 5, 2013) – After this weekend’s 6th annual Randy Helton Memorial Race at East Alabama Motor Speedway, the United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint cars keep a busy June 2013 rolling with a North Georgia and Western North Carolina double-header on Father’s Day weekend. On Friday, June 14th the series visits the remodeled Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia. On Saturday, June 15th the USCS drivers make their first visit to Tri County Racetrack since Super Late Model star Ray Cook became the promoter there. Both tracks have been USCS driver and fan favorites over the past 17 seasons. Both events will pay $2000 to the winner.

The series last visited Lavonia Speedway on Labor Day weekend of the 2010 season. The 4/10 mile clay oval track was closed for two years before re-opening for the 2013 season under new ownership. The last race for the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour at Tri County Racetrack was during the 2008 season, although this race is a make-up date for a race scheduled last Labor Day weekend.
