Returning to action with the All Star Circuit of Champions on Saturday night at the Attica Raceway Park, Jac Haudenschild had an up and down night, as he got off to a great start in the feature event, but late in the race, something went south, and he was relegated to a 19th place finish.

On a track that was surprisingly slick considering the rain and weather the area had received, Haudenschild timed his MonDak Portables/Benic Enterprises/Renegade Rentals entry in 24th fastest, putting him on the front row of his heat race.

Slipping to the second spot when the heat race started, Haudenschild hooked up in an entertaining battle with Tim Shaffer, and in the end he would fall to the third spot, but did make the transfer to the feature event.

Lining up 23rd in the feature event, Haud looked to have a rocket under him for the 40-lap feature event, as he quickly began working his way forward from the back.

Tip toeing around the slick surface, Haud worked his way up to the 12th spot, when the first caution waived on the 10th lap.

When action resumed, Haudenschild didn’t seem to have the same car under him that he started the race with, as he struggled to find grip, and began falling back through the field, losing all of the positions that he had picked up.

Continuing to fight, and search for grip, Haudenschild would slip back to a 19th place finish when all was said and done.

“We were pretty good early in the feature,” he said. “After that yellow I’m not really sure what happened, but we didn’t seem to have the same car we started with. I have to thank Scott and the boys for working hard.”

Destiny Motorsports would like to thank MonDak Portables, Benic Enterprises, Rick Rogers Construction, Renegade Rentals, Triple X Race Components, Boss Signs and Graphics, Driver Websites, Petersen Media, Tony Stewart Racing, GME Manufacturing, ButlerBuilt, Simpson Race Products, Kistler Engines, Keizer Wheels, DMI, Red Devil Brakes, Champion Oil, and Hoosier Tire for their support in 2014.

ON TAP: Jac Haudenschild and the Destiny Motorsports team will make a decision where they will be in action at this weekend within the next day or two, so please stay tuned for an announcement.
