Atlanta, GA – (May 15, 2015) – The United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com 19th Anniversary Outlaw Thunder Tour has slightly revised it’s 10th Annual USCS Sprint Speedweek (2015) as follows. The Speedweek 2015 opener will still be on Saturday, May 23rd at the famed Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi.

After the 2015 Speedweek opener at Jackson Motor Speedway, the high-speed entourage then travels north two hours for Speedweek Round Two at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on Sunday May 24th. The traditional Memorial Day Monday event held for the last nine seasons at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee has been eliminated from this seasons schedule due to the track remaining closed at this time.

So, the traveling show will then take three days off for repairs before returning to action with Round Three on Thursday, May 28th at the famed 1/3 mile Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama.

After having its season-opener at Magnolia Motor Speedway rained/iced out twice, the series re-scheduled the Friday, May 29th Round Four USCS Sprint Speedweek 2015 event at the popular Magnolia Motor Speedway 3/8 mile in Columbus, Mississippi. The Speedweek Round Five Grand Finale is set for the fourth year in a row to happen on Saturday, May 30th at the historic Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas for some “Thrills, Chills and Spills” at the country’s oldest operating dirt oval.

Approximately $70,000 in total prize money is guaranteed with one driver able to win nearly $12,000 including Dashes, Speedweek point’s monies and contingencies for the week’s action. All five of the events pay at least
$2000 to win with a minimum of $250 to start the A-Main in each. The Finale at Riverside International Speedway will pay $2500 to the winner if they ran the entire Speedweek 2015. Any driver who starts all five A-Main events is guaranteed to go home with a minimum of $1500 for the week including prize money and Speedweek point’s money. There is a USCS Sprint Speedweek mini-series point’s fund that pays back 10 places. Additionally each night’s Speedweek 2015 event awards USCS National points as well as USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour and/or USCS Southern Thunder Tour regional Championship points.

During the course of the five nights of intense competition, many of the top ranked drivers in the Nation are expected to compete. Those include eleven-time USCS Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee. Tim Crawley who was the 2002 NSCHOF 360 Sprint Car Driver of the Year and the 2012 USCS Outlaw Thunder National Champion and as well as a three-time USCS Mid South regional series Champion is expected to compete as well as the 2013 USCS National Champion, Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas.
