(MORRIS, IL – June 17, 2015)—The Short Track Auto Racing Series (STARS) will have all five divisions back in action Saturday June 20th at Grundy County Speedway. Rain caused for poor and unsafe track conditions last Saturday, therefore causing STARS to cancel the event. The sponsor for this weekend’s event is 1340 WJOL Radio Systems. This week will have the D’Arcy GMC National Midgets leading the way, followed by the STARS Classic Modifieds (Dwarf), Illini Racing Series Sportsman Midgets (IRS), CSR Super Cups, and Legacy Midwest Racing Series. The night will also have some local radio personalities from 1340 WJOL in attendance.

The pits will open at 2:00 pm and the front gate at 4:30 pm. This will allow for the first races to begin at 6:00 pm. So be sure to come out and see great racing in all five divisions and see some radio personalities from 1340 WJOL.

The cost to watch some great racing is family friendly. Adult tickets cost $12, children tickets (age 5 to 12) cost $2, and children 4 and under are free. There is also no charge for parking.

Stay connected with STARS on their website www.shorttrackauto.com and Facebook page, www.facebook.com/shorttrackauto, to see what will be happening this racing season.
