THREE FANS WILL BE PART OF THE PROMOTERS SUMMIT FAN PANEL

From Ernie Saxton

OAKS, PA — There are probably a large number of fans out there that would like to offer their ideas and suggestions to auto racing promoters on what they think would help the sport.
The opportunity could come for three lucky fans.

“We are inviting three fans to attend the Motorsports 2010 Presented by StreetBlaze 100 Race Car & Trade Show and be part of the Friday, January 22nd Promoters Summit,” said Summit organizer Ernie Saxton. “We are looking for fans to offer suggestions, ask questions, but not rant and rave. Often we see suggestions from fans on various internet sites but this will give fans a chance to be really be heard by the people that make the decisions that drive the sport.”

The idea of a fan panel as part of the Promoters Summit is to gain input that may help promoters and organization officials plan for 2010 and beyond plus, perhaps, improve their product.

Todd Fisher, promoter of the successful Susquehanna Speedway Park located in Newberrytown, PA, is looking forward to the Fan Panel and welcomes the input.

Fans are being invited to contact Saxton and tell him why they feel they should be part of the Fan Panel. Fans having interest should telephone Saxton at 215.752.7797 or e-mail him at Esaxton144@aol.com. He, with input from others involved with the Summit, will pick the three fans that will be part of the Panel. The deadline is January 10th.

Fans wanting to be part of the Fan Panel will have to be available on January 22nd at the Motorsports 2010 show site, the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Included for the three fans that are chosen is free show admission and lunch courtesy of NASCAR.

The three day show runs from Friday, January 22nd through Sunday, January 24th.
