From Eldora Speedway
ROSSBURG, OH – In what has become a popular announcement amongst the competitors, Eldora Speedway has added a tune and test day to their 2010 slate of events. The special opportunity to shake down and prep for the ambitious season will take place on Saturday, March 27.
There are no restrictions for participation in this tune and test session, other than driver age and safety compliance. The minimum driver age is 16, with proof required, and all cars must be of sound design, with full roll cage and driver safety amenities.
On this day, the pit gates will open at 1:30 and the first group of cars will take to the one-half mile clay oval at 2:30. A nominal pit fee of $20 will be charged; however, the grandstand area will be open to the public at no charge, with the spectator areas opening at 2:00.
Eldora’s 2010 competition season will swing into full gear the following weekend (April 2 & 3) with the Coca Cola Classic featuring two nights of USAC (United States Auto Club) Sprint Car racing.
