Throughout Brady Bacon’s remarkable USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car career, he’s posted some staggering statistical facts and figures. On Saturday night at Rossburg, Ohio’s Eldora Speedway, the Broken Arrow, Oklahoma native put another one on the board of substantial significance.
Rico Abreu did a little showing off for his boss on Friday night. The 34-year-old’s career took a major step forward when he joined forces with Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing ahead of 2026. Abreu merged his already top-tier team with one of the most accomplished organizations in Sprint Car racing history.
There once was a time in which Kyle Cummins admittedly struggled on 1/2-mile tracks. Those days are long gone. In his 17th career Eldora USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car feature start, the Princeton, Indiana native finally conquered the Rossburg, Ohio 1/2-mile dirt oval during Friday night’s #LetsRaceTwo Presented by LGMG opener, a victory worth $12,000.
The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and Eldora Speedway go way back. The two have been connected since Earl Baltes welcomed Ted Johnson’s band of travelers for the tour’s second race ever. At the time, nobody knew that the foundations of The Greatest Show on Dirt were forming, but Baltes saw promise in Johnson’s plan to organize the country’s best Sprint Car drivers.
What you’ll get at Eldora Speedway this weekend is truly the best of both worlds! The legendary Rossburg, Ohio 1/2-mile dirt oval will be home to USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car racing with both series competing in a dream doubleheader on back-to-back nights, Friday-Saturday, May 15-16.
