World of Outlaws Champions To Sign Autographs, Meet with Fans Thursday
INDIANAPOLIS (May 24, 2010) – Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Donny Schatz and Steve Kinser will make appearances in the Charlotte, N.C., area this week in advance of Friday night’s World of Outlaws (WoO) Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown being contested at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Schatz and the TSR No. 15 Armor All/STP/ParkerStore team will be at Carolina Fluidair Thursday (May 27) from 11-1 p.m. EDT, while Kinser and the TSR No. 11 Bass Pro Shops team will be at the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World Retail Store Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
The TSR tandem will lead the WoO contingent of drivers to the Charlotte area for their first of two appearances this season at the 4/10-mile dirt track. Schatz and Kinser both have found success at the venue during the last 10 seasons. Kinser has been victorious twice, his most recent win coming in the 2007 World Finals. Schatz has four career wins and closed out each of the last three seasons by being crowned WoO champion at the track.
Schatz, the four-time and reigning WoO champion, will join his Tony Stewart Racing crew, their No. 15 Armor All/STP/ParkerStore J&J racecar, and the team’s 53-foot race hauler at Carolina Fluidair, located at 5100 Reagan Drive, Suite 10. The facility is located just off Interstate 85 near West Sugar Creek Road (Exit 41).
Kinser, who has enjoyed a solid beginning to his first season driving for TSR, will be at the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World retail store in Concord along with his Tony Stewart Racing crew, their No. 11 Bass Pro Shops/ J.D. Byrider Maxim racecar, and the team’s 53-foot race hauler. The store is located at 8181 Concord Mills Blvd., just north of Interstate 85 at Exit 49.
