The 2010 USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series resumes this Saturday night at Giant Speedway in Hanford, Calif. and series point leader Craig Stidham will try to keep his streak of “top-six” finishes intact. He has finished no worse than sixth in all 10 of his starts, including four wins, but he has yet to score at Hanford.
Stidham has a 58-point lead over Davey Pombo entering Saturday’s race. Stidham has a second and Pombo a third in two previous Hanford races this season. Danny Faria Jr. and Ricky Kirkbride have been the Hanford winners so far in 2010.
The ultra-competitive series has produced nine different winners in the first 12 races. Stidham is the only repeater, with drivers Dean Alexander, Faria, Pombo, Danny Sheridan, Bud Kaeding, Justyne Hamblin, Kirkbride and Jace VanderWeerd posting the other wins.
