Tulsa, Okla. (October 3, 2010)- There are still races left on the 2010 ASCS Patriot racing calendar, but the final event will once again be held off the racetrack and out of the driver’s suits.
The date for the 2010 ASCS Patriot Awards Banquet has now been confirmed, which is Saturday, November 13. For the second consecutive year, it will be held at the Wildwood Country Club in Rush, NY. Also like 2009, the head table will belong to Bryan Howland.
Howland, of Auburn, NY, will be honored with his third consecutive Patriot Title, his fourth overall. The 23-year-old had his racing season end prematurely two weeks ago with a hard crash that shattered his shoulder blade and fractured his fibula. Tim Kelly, along with Vern Wasson, will be first-time point fund recipients at the banquet for their season-long dedication. They finished third and sixth in points, respectively.
Bubba Broderick and Don Adamczyk finished in the top-five in series points for the second straight season and will once again be taking home a significant portion of the series point fund.
Youngster Dylan Swiernik will be officially named as the 2010 Insinger Race Fuels Rookie of the Year.
