Las Vegas, NV — Kody Swanson and Lonnie Adamson were victorious Saturday at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Swanson won the USAC Western Midget feature while Adamson scored the SMRA Supermodified victory.
Lonnie Adamson of Salt Lake City is two-for-two in 2010 at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Adamson won the July 1 main event and also won tonight’s 50-lap SMRA Supermodified feature. Dale Lamborn finished second, A.J. Russell was third and Gene Lee Gibson and Bobby Dalton completed the top five.
During practice Jeff Russell crashed during the 2nd SMRA practice session after it appeared a front spindle broke sending Jeff into the wall at a high rate of speed. Russell had to be cut out of the car and was life-lighted to Las Vegas Trauma center. We will post more information as it becomes available.
