KENNEDALE, Texas (November 12, 2010) – A late move netted Gary Taylor his second American Sprint Car Series Regional win of the year in Friday’s opening leg of Cowtown Speedway’s Fourth Annual November Sprint Shootout.

The Snohomish, WA, native made a late move around Aaron Reutzel to add his first ASCS Lone Star win of the year to a June ASCS Northwest triumph in Montana, taking the top position in Friday’s 30-lapper aboard the Little Rock-based Ronnie Pitts No. 1x entry.

After starting sixth, Taylor beat 2009 ASCS Gulf South champion Reutzel to the stripe with Tommy Bryant, Brandon Corn and Kevin Ramey rounding out the top five. Brandon Berryman was sixth, with Jonathan Beason, Donnie Ray Crawford, Kolt Walker and Eric Baldaccini completing the top ten.

Bryant, Crawford, Corn, Andy Shouse and Reutzel topped heat race action for the 45-car field, with Justin Sturch and John Ricketts winning the 12-lap “B” Mains.
