McKENZIE, TN (Feb. 24) – The results from around the globe continue to be positive for J&J Auto Racing. Ian Loudoun and Ricky Logan were victorious in recent Sprint car events in Australia and New Zealand.
TYREPOWER SYDNEY SPEEDWAY
J&J Auto Racing teams have scored a number of wins this season at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway near Sydney, Australia. Ian Loudoun continued the dominance this past weekend as he raced the Blackshaw’s Motor Body Repair No. 15 J&J to victory.
Fellow J&J racer, Roddy Bellbowen led the 30-lap track championship program from lap eight in the No. 7N Spies Hecker, McGrath Lander sponsored J&J before Loudoun seized control on lap 20. Current point leader, Ben Atkinson, raced the Gary Rush Racing No. 2 Pick ‘N’ Payless sponsored J&J into contention following a caution on lap 24 and finished behind Loudoun.
NEW ZEALAND
Ricky Logan continues to have a strong tour racing in New Zealand. He recently scored a victory at Huntly Speedway driving Keith “Simbo” Simpson’s No. 10 Lucas Oil-backed J&J. The win was his second in 2011. Logan nearly made it two-for-two the following night at The Springs in Auckland. He was running second after taking the white flag, but was contacted by the third-place runner and ultimately finished in fourth.
