Port Royal – The upcoming All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, April 30, has exploded financially and expectations for an exciting, bullish event are growing.

Last week, Weikert’s Livestock announced a huge sponsorship package for drivers in the event worth more than $3,000, including $2,900 in lap monies.

And as it turns out today, the event has become another $1,700 richer, again thanks to the Weikert’s family and their associate sponsors.

The newest addition to the already beefy All Star purse is an additional $1,600 added to the winner’s share, boosting it to a guaranteed total of $7,100, and $100 for the driver who sets fast time in the event.

The 30-lap Weikert race will not only guarantee $7,100 to win but thanks to Weikert’s Livestock of Fairfield and its conglomeration of nationwide sponsors, each of the first 29 circuits will be worth $100 to whoever leads them.

That means if one driver can take the bull by the horns and set fast time and then somehow manage to lead all 30-laps of the prestigious event, he or she will end up taking home $10,100. .

And there’s no driver that can beef about that!

The Weikert’s family of sponsorship contributors to the event is impressive: Richard Childress Racing, Welcome, NC, Lap 3; Scott’s Body Shop, Gettysburg, PA; Miller & Associates Real Estate, LLC., Gettysburg, PA, Lap 25; S&B Livestock, Inc., Herndon, PA; South Branch Livestock Exchange, Moorefield, WV; Virginia Livestock Inc., Front Royal, VA; Virginia Cattle Company, Radiant, VA; Craig Livestock Market, Shippensburg, PA; Greencastle Livestock Market, Greencastle, PA; Hickory Bridge Farms, Orrtanna, Pa; Nicholas Packing, Loganton, PA; JAB Hauling, Jersey Shore, PA; Folkens Brothers Hauling, Lester, IA, Lap 1; Joel Stein Showhorses, Gettysburg, PA; Stan’s Beverages, Carlisle, PA; Holtapp Trucking, Pomeroy, IA; Weiss Trasport, Hills, MN; JW Trueth Inc., Baltimore, MD; High Plains Feedyard, Montezuma, KS; Irsik & Doll Feedyards, Garden City, KS; Century Golf Partners/Arnold Palmer Golf Management, Orlando, FL; Diedrichsen Cattle Company, Neligh, NE; Roth Racing, Fresno, CA; Steve K. And one of his favorite groups of competitors to race with as a car owner aside from the Port Royal contingent was the All Stars.

So, the traveling band along with Port Royal regulars and others from around the midstate will gather to vie for bragging rights in this year’s race race coming up this Saturday.
