From SOS
With the 2011 season fast approaching, its time to start filling those out membership forms. By becoming a member of the Southern Ontario Sprints in 2011 you will be eligible to receive a number of benefits. The newest addition, and perhaps the most unique, is free admission to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in Knoxville, Iowa. Members will simply show their SOS membership cards at the door to receive freeadmission to the world’s only museum solely dedicated to preserving the history of sprint car racing. The Hall of Fame honours the outstanding achievers in the sport and the Museum features an amazing collection of race cars and sprint car racing memories, including the #20 Bob Trostle owned car driven by the SOS’s own Adam West in the 2003 Knoxville International Driver Development (KIDD) Program.
The Museum, founded in 1986, is located outside turn 2 of the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. It is open year round and features a gift shop full of sprint car related merchandise. If you are planing on attending the Knoxville 360 Nationals or the 51st Knoxville Nationals, don’t forget your SOS membership card in 2011.
