BRIDGEPORT, NJ – (May 14, 2011) – For the third time this season at Bridgeport Speedway, rain washed out the Saturday night program slated for May 14. On and off rain showers during the day finally forced track owner Jay James to cancel racing after a valiant effort to get the speedway ready for the night’s activities.

Saturday night racing is scheduled to get back underway on May 21. The ARDC Midgets will make an invasion into Southern New Jersey with a complete wingless show on the quarter mile oval. Bridgeport Modifieds, 358 Sportsman, Proformance Cuts Outlaw Stocks and Rookies will be in action on the big 5/8th mile dirt track. Also, it will be Little League Night as the manager of the team will get in for free with seven players in uniform.

On Saturday, May 21, the pit gates will open at 4:00 p.m. with the gates to the grandstand opening at 5:00 p.m. The first race is set for at 7:00 p.m. Adult admission to the grandstand for this special show will be $20 with kids 12 and under admitted for free.
