Belleville, Kan., Aug. 1—Colorado drivers Levi Roberts and Julee Jaimson, along with homestate driver C.J. Johnson are the latest entries for the 34th Annual RevHoney Belleville Midget Nationals on Aug. 5-6 at the Belleville High Banks. For the second straight year the event will be officiated by the National Championship Racing Association (NCRA) and The Belleville High Banks Race Committee.
Roberts will be driving for Steve Lewis’ Nine Racing Team in the famed No. 9 Spike/Ford-Esslinger. Lewis has won the event six times, with four different drivers. Stan Fox claimed the teams first victory in 1980, with Dave Darland (’99, ’02), Kasey Kahne (2000-01) and Bobby East (’04) all scoring Saturday Night victories.
Jamison returns to Belleville for her third attempt, hoping to improve upon her 15th place finish in last year’s event, marking the highest finish ever by a female driver in the events history. Johnson, a second generation driver finished 18th in his first attempt last year. Former winners: Dave Darland, Jerry Coons Jr., and Bobby East, along with Brad Kuhn, Darren Hagen, Brad Loyet, and Kyle Larson are among the top drivers entered for the two-day event which carries a purse of nearly $90,000.
General Admission tickets for all events are sold first-come first-served on race day at the ticket gate. Reserved Seating tickets is available for the RevHoney Belleville Midget Nationals. General admission available only if the event is not sold out, and available only on the day of the race at the track ticket office (bottom 3 rows only).
