KNOXVILLE, IOWA (August 17, 2011) – Tomorrow night’s “Sprint Car 101 – Third Thursday Series” program at the National Sprint Car Museum, featuring veteran Knoxville sprint car racers Travis Cram, Jaymie Moyle and Chris Walraven, will be streamed live at www.ustream.tv/channel/sprintcarhof beginning at 7 p.m. Central. The program, which is free and open to the public, will include interviews with all three drivers about their individual driving careers, as well as a group discussion on the cost of sprint car racing today.
Museum interim special events coordinator David Herrmann said today, “We tried out the live streaming video last month during our ‘An Evening with David Hesmer’ program and it went surprisingly well. We are excited about doing it again with this program, especially with the segment on the high costs of sprint car racing. Clearly that is an issue which is impacting the sport from coast-to-coast and border-to-border, and not just here in America’s heartland.”
