USAC’s 2k11 “Generation Next” tour for the Mopar .25 Midgets concludes September 23-25 at Tony Stewart’s “Little E” at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio in conjunction with the 2011 USAC “4-Crown Nationals.” Championships will be determined in various classes.
Michigan pilots Carson Hocevar of Portage, Cason Konzer of Holly and Wil Raber of Allegan posted A-Main victories in last weekend’s Round 11 activity at “Little Kalamazoo” speedway in the Wolverine state.
Hocevar triumphed in Junior Stock and Junior Animal competition, while Konzer topped the Heavy 160 class and Raber won in Heavy Honda and Unrestricted Animal.
Other Kalamazoo winners included Tyler Garner of Westerville, Ohio (Junior Honda), Christian Pitman of Christiana, Texas (Senior Honda), Zeb Wise of Angola, Ind. (Mod), Frankie Nervo of Stow, Ohio (Light World Formula), Harrison Burton of Huntersville, N.C. (Light 160), Garrett Jones of West Palm Beach, Fla. (Senior Animal), Katlyn Stanley of Concord, N.C. (Heavy World Formula), Gage Walker of Fairland, Ind. (Light AA) and Tyler Shullick of Vermillion, Ohio (Heavy AA). Rookie winners included Matthew Elsey Jr. and Christian Brink.
More than 130 cars were on hand for Round 11 at Little Kalamazoo.
