PEORIA, Ariz. (September 10, 2011) – The Albuquerque shoe raced forward from the seventh starting position to capture his 28th career overall ASCS win and fourth of the year in Southwest action aboard the Wesmar-powered Mesilla Valley Transport/Champion Oil No. 45x Maxim.
Herrera took the checkered flag ahead of Dalten Gabbard, with Kyle McCutcheon, J.T. Imperial and Jordan Stetson rounding out the top five.
Herrera and Lance Norick topped heat race action.
