Quincy, MI — (September 17, 2011) — Chad Blonde and Doug Zimmerman hooked up in a battle to see who would end up winning the season championship night feature. With Zimmerman leading, Blonde got past Zimmerman, only to get caught in traffic and allow Zimmerman back around. Blonde was finally able to make a strong move on the bottom of turn two and a bigger move in traffic in turns three and four to secure the season championship feature win at Butler Motor Speedway. While Blonde and Zimmerman were dueling for a feature win, Mark Aldrich finished 5th and was named the 2011 Sprint Car track champion. Aldrich, a 31 year veteran of racing, was able to grab his 1st career sprint car track championship.
