USAC.s 2k11 “Generation Next” Mopar .25 Midget championships finalized Saturday and Sunday at Tony Stewart’s “Little E” oval in Rossburg, Ohio.
Just like fans witnessed at the half-mile Saturday night, “Little E” had its own Triple Crown winner. Ali Lewis of Ellicott City, Md. Posted victories in Heavy Honda, Heavy 160 and Heavy World Formula class competition!
“What a great weekend of Mopar .25 Midget racing at the “Little E,” says USAC’s James Spink. “The track was outstanding all weekend with lots of moisture, plenty of grip and lots of passing. Special thanks are extended to all those at Eldora Speedway for a great weekend.” Race winners at “Little E” were honored along with “4-Crown Nationals” champion Kyle Larson on Saturday night at the half-mile oval.
Weekend A-Main winners at “Little E” included Ali Lewis of Ellicott City, MD (Heavy Honda, Heavy 160 and Heavy World Formula)), Tyler Clem of St. Petersburg, FL (Junior Honda), Aaron Bollinger of Birdsboro, PA (Senior Honda), Carson Hocevar of Portage, MI (Junior Animal), Garrett Jones of West Palm Beach, FL (Senior Animal and Light World Formula), Aaron Leffel of Springfield, OH (Unrestricted Animal), Caden Hoyt of Homer, MI (Junior Stock), Collin Olson of Hugo, MN (Mod), Ryan Krachun of Neshanic, NJ (B), Harrison Burton of Huntersville, NC (Light 160) and Richie Streicher of Bluffton, OH (Heavy AA). Dale Dupler of Hallam, PA was the top Red Rookie.
Over 175 entries participated in last weekend’s “Little E” finales, held in conjunction with USAC’s annual “4-Crown Nationals” program on the Eldora Speedway half-mile.
