KNOXVILLE, IOWA (October 19, 2011) – Tomorrow night’s “Sprint Car 101 – Third Thursday Series” program at the National Sprint Car Museum, will feature Knoxville Raceway’s new general manager and promoter Toby Kruse, who will be talking with Knoxville Raceway announcer Tony Bokhoven, and the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum’s executive director Bob Baker, will be streamed live at www.ustream.tv/channel/sprintcarhof. The program, which is free and open to the public, will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Central.
Museum special events coordinator David Herrmann said today, “We tried out the live streaming earlier this year with our programs involving David Hesmer, Travis Cram, Jaymie Moyle and Chris Walraven, and they were very well received. We are excited about putting this ‘Introducing… Toby Kruse’ program out there as well, as we are not sure that fans of Knoxville Raceway, both nationally and internationally, realize that Toby has had a lot of hands-on experience with sprint car racing in the past. I think that Bob and Tony will be able to draw those stories out of Toby, making for a very entertaining and educational program.”
