Sydney, AU — (September 29, 2011) — Tonight, Robbie Farr claimed a powerful victory in round two of the Sprintcar Track Championship at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway. Action was recorded for a Speedway segment on the highly popular Sunday morning edition of Wide World of Sports on Channel Nine. The segment will go to air between 10am and 11am Sunday, October 30.
Second home in the Sprintcar main event was Max Dumesny and third home was a very impressive Daniel Goldoni.
Farr took full advantage of his up-front starting position and raced into the lead in the early stages of the thirty lapper. Max Dumesny forged his way toward the head of the field and moved into second position in the latter half of the race.
Goldoni looked impressive from the outset and led the early laps, however he kept sight of Farr and thoroughly deserved his third placing.
The Speedcar A-Main was claimed by Richard Malouf over New Zealander Hayden Williams and West Australian David Ellement.
The AMCA Nationals A-Main was won by Laurence Chant from Robert Chant and Graham Flood.
