SYRACUSE. NY – On March 10 and 11 at Center of Progress Building in Syracuse, NY the 26th annual Motorsports Expo will kick off the racing season in upstate NY. One aspect in common is that the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) has been a part of each and every Expo held and for the 2012 edition fans will get to see one of the largest ESS displays ever.
A total of 10 winged machines will fill the Lucas Oil ESS booth area highlighted by defending champion, “The Cobra” Chuck Hebing, joining the Ontario, NY star will be a very stout list of talented drivers which includes Shawn Donath with the Mucci Motorsports mount, 2009 Lane’s Yamaha Rookie of the Year, Kevin Ward Jr., fan favorite Jeff Cook, 2011 A-Main winner Jason Barney, former modified veterans Charlie Donk and Paul Habeck, Vermont’s James Hanson, first time campaigner Paul Kinney and to add a little flare, ‘Lil Cobra herself, Kelly Hebing will have her micro sprint on hand as well which will have a matching paint scheme.
Two more ESS sprinters will be at the show with first year competitor Sammy Reakes IV having his sharp mount in the Canandaigua Motorsports Park booth where ESS will make its annual visit during Watkins Glen Weekend on Saturday, Aug. 11th. Another rookie Joe Trenca will have his GF1 chassis sprint in the TI22 booth, TI22 builds GF1 chassis and is also an ESS sponsor.
Fans will be in for a fun filled two days as the very popular autograph session will take place on Saturday at 2:30. Not only will they see the new sprints all weekend but a chance to purchase the new ESS apparel which includes t-shirts, hoodies, hats and much more. The 2012 schedule cards will be available as well.

Just two weeks after the show, several stars and cars from the Lucas Oil Tour will be heading down to the Selinsgrove Speedway where the Mach 1 Series kicks off on March 24th. The battle for the 29th anniversary tour championship will then start on Sat. April 28th with the full point season starting at the Can-Am Motorsports Park.
