Rio Vista, CA – March 23, 2012…Visalia, California based companies BR Motorsports and King Racing Products are pleased to announce a partnership with the Cancel Oil King of the West Series to present the “Fast Time Award” and the new “Show Maker Award” respectively.
For the driver that sets fast time at each Cancen Oil KWS Series presented by Goodyear event, BR Motorsports will award that person with a $100 product certificate.
The “Show Maker Award” will be for the driver that earns the final transfer spot into the A-main from the Last Chance Qualifier. King Racing Products will award that driver a $100 product certificate. If no LCQ is run then the award will go to the last place finisher in the A-main.
“We’re excited to have Blake and BR Motorsports, as well as King Racing Products come on board with the series,” said KWS Operations Manager George Hague. “It’s always nice to have great companies like this support 410 sprint car racing in California.”
To be eligible for contingency awards with the Cancen Oil King of the West Sprint Car Series, competitors must run the individual company’s decal on their car. The decals will be provided each night.

The Cancen Oil King of the West Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear will open the season on Saturday April 7 at the Antioch Speedway. A strong field of race cars is expected to be on hand to kick off the second year of competition under the KWS banner. Defending champ Tim Kaeding has already shown his strength in 2012, by winning with the World of Outlaws in Las Vegas and Tulare.
Gunning to come after Kaeding’s crown this year, however, will include Chico’s Jonathan Allard, Scotts Valley’s Evan Suggs, Campbell’s Brent Kaeding, Grass Valley’s Jason Statler, Elk Grove’s Bobby McMahan, Placerville’s Andy Gregg and others. Former drivers returning to the series, Peter Murphy of Clovis and Craig Stidham of Fresno will also be looking to put their names up front.
