Sarver, PA (June 13, 2012) We are on the prefaces of the biggest three weekend swing of the 2012 Lernerville Speedway season featuring Fireworks, Mid-Season Championships and the 6th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com! The three-week swing starts with a bang this Friday, June 15 with our annual Holiday Races with Fireworks on #1 Cochran Fan Appreciation Night! All Fab Four Racing divisions will be in action plus a pulse pounding pyrotechnic display, but as always, there will be no increase in admission price thanks to Jack Crowell and our longtime marketing partners at #1 Cochran Automotive.
Last Friday Night was another thrilling edition of Fab Four Racing as Danny Holtgraver (Ti22 Sprints), Alex Ferree (Precise Late Models) and Brian Swartzlander (Diehl Mods) scored feature wins on late race passes, while Paul Schreckengost (Pic-A-Part Sportsman) led all 20 laps and denied Jim Fosnaught’s attempt at a grand slam of late race passes for wins.
Heading into Friday’s Holiday Races, Kevin Schaeffer leads the Bud Points in the Ti22 Sprints over Rod George; Jared Miley maintains a healthy lead over John Garvin Jr. in the Precise Late Models; Kevin Bolland leads Dave Murdick by a single point in the Diehl Mods; and Corey McPherson still sits at the Bud Points in the Pic-A-Part Sportsman over Jim Fosnaught.
The following Friday, June 22 is the always thrilling Mid-Season Championships for all Fab Four Racing divisions and each will have a provisional at stake for their respective divisions’ marquee event on the 2012 schedule. That means the Mid-Season Championship feature winner in the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models will secure a track provisional for the following weekend’s 6th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com! The leading in Budweiser Points at the end of the evening will also have secured a track provisional for the $30,000-to-win Crown Jewel of Dirt Late Mode racing!
Other Mid-Season Championship provisionals include a spot in the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXI Twin 30s for the Ti22 Performance DIRTcar Sprints, the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede for the Diehl Auto Group DIRTcar Northeast Big Block Modifieds and the Sportsman/Stock Spectacular at Autumn-Motive Fest 2012 for the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman/Stocks.
The month of June will be capped by the biggest weekend of DIRTcar Late Model racing with the 6th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com featuring the World of Outlaws Late Model Series on Thursday-Friday-Saturday, June 28-29-30. With an average car count of 60 of the nation’s best Late Model drivers, this ever growing Crown Jewel of Dirt Late Model racing is the must see event of 2012!
