NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM’S SECOND-, THIRD- AND FOURTH-FLOORS “SOLD OUT” FOR KNOXVILLE NATIONALS, AUGUST 8-11

By Bob Baker

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 25, 2012) – For the first time ever, the National Sprint Car Museum’s second-, third- and fourth-floor viewing areas overlooking the half-mile Knoxville Raceway dirt track are officially “sold out” for the Knoxville National Sprint Car Championships, August 8-11.

Said museum executive director Bob Baker yesterday, “We don’t honestly know what made this year unique, but we do know that we’re now totally sold out with regard to clubhouse and suite tickets for the Wednesday through Saturday, August 8-11, Goodyear Knoxville Nationals. Thankfully we can still accommodate people above the turn two museum for the August 2-4 Knoxville ‘360’ Nationals and the August 5 Capitani Classic for ‘410’ sprint cars. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised after hearing that Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway had a huge crowd for their Kings Royal a couple of weekends ago.”

Museum clubhouse and suite tickets for the August 2-5 events can still be reserved by calling Bob Baker at 1-800-874-4488. Knoxville Raceway grandstand tickets for the August 2-5 and the August 8-11 events can be purchased on-line at www.knoxvilleraceway.com or by calling the track ticket office at 641-842-5431. The museum’s web site is www.sprintcarhof.com.
