AKRON, Ohio (Aug. 5, 2012) – Kerry Madsen won for the second time in three starts, taking the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series race at Willamette Speedway. It was the first race for the touring stars of the WoO at the Lebanon, Oregon facility.

Madsen and the other Outlaws racers compete on Goodyear bias-ply racing tires. Most of the top winged sprint car touring series in the country compete on the same line of tires Goodyear supplies to the Outlaws and many weekly racing programs for winged sprinters make use of the same tire offerings.
Madsen’s win at Willamette came ahead of Donny Schatz, West Coast stars Jonathon Allard and Tim Kaeding, and Joey Saldana. Madsen also won at Skagit Speedway on Aug. 31.
Travis Jacobson won the Sept. 1 race at Skagit, thrilling his home-track fans.
