New Richmond, WI — (February 27, 2013) — Open wheel racing standouts Brad Kuhn and Jon Stanbrough are the latest entries forย “The Sasquatch Indoor Nationals presented by Jack Link’s Beef Jerkyโ at the Cedar Lake Speedway Arena on March 9-10.
Theย ย two-day event at the indoor quarter-mile dirt oval willย be the season opener for theย the Stark Automotive Group/Mid-State Equipment Badger Midget Series. ย Also competing in the event will be Badger 600 Micros and Legends Cars.
Kuhn’s resume includes nine career midget driving championships, including the three Badger titles. Kuhn will be aiming for his 25th career Badger Midget feature victory driving the RAB Racing Spike/Fontana.
Stanbrough who captured his sixth career King of Indiana Sprint Series (KISS) Championship in 2012, will be driving the Hans Lein No. 4 entry previously entered for Vance Lein. Vanceย Lein has filed an entry for the Badger 600 Micros portion of the event. Stanbrough had success in the Badger State in 2012, capturing the USAC National Sprint Car event at Wilmot Speedway in June.
Entries for the Badger 600 Micros and Legends Cars continue to be filed and both divisions are now over twenty cars, a complete list will be announced later this week.ย An optional practice night is scheduled for Friday night, March 8.ย Saturday Night March 9 racing will kickoff at 5 p.m., with Sunday afternoonโs racing events starting at 1 p.m.ย Saturdayโs event will pay $2,000 to win, with Sundayโs winning capturing $2,500, with a $1,000 bonus to any driver winning both features.
