From Selinsgrove Speedway
Selinsgrove, PA — (March 20, 2013) — Selinsgrove Speedway will present the first show of the regular season at 6 p.m. this Saturday, March 23, providing the track crew can prep the speedway’s clay surface following this week’s snowstorm accumulation.
Weather and track conditions permitting, the 358 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks and roadrunners will take to the historic Snyder County half-mile oval. Track gates will open at 4 p.m.
Saturday’s show will also be Family Night, highlighted by $20 admission per immediate family, which will include parents and kids 17 and under.
The speedway will host the same four division show at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 30, in addition to an Easter egg hunt and candy giveaway to the first 100 kids.
Selinsgrove Raceway Park, the one-fifth mile oval located inside of the speedway’s half-mile track, will open its 13th season featuring a complete program of go kart racing at 7 p.m. Friday, March 22.
The micro sprint cars will make their season debut with the go karts at 7 p.m. Friday, March 29.
