Attica, OH — (March 28, 2013) — Mondayโs snow storm was just too much for the crew at Attica Raceway Park to overcome. The wet grounds prompted the cancellation of Fridayโs season opener for the HD Supply Spring Nationals. However, Saturdayโs Spring Nationals are still on featuring the University of Northwestern Ohio All Star Circuit of Champions.
โThe guys worked very hard Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to try and get things dried out. In fact, they worked through the night Thursday so we can get Saturdayโs races in. The track and grounds were just not coming around enough for Fridayโs show,โ said Rex LeJeune, Director of Operations at ARP. โWe need another day of dry, warmer weather to be ready for Saturday and Friday is going to give us that opportunity.โ
On Saturday, pit gates will open at 3 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Racing will get underway at 4 p.m. with the UNOH All Stars, UMP Late Models and 305 sprints.
