Indianapolis, IN — (May 1, 2013) — Once again, weather has intervened and forced cancellation of AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car races this weekend at Cameron, Mo. and Eagle, Neb.

Frigid temperatures and snow flurries are forecast for mid-America this weekend, so race organizers at the two venues are attempting to reschedule their events but dates have not yet been finalized.

“It’s been a frustrating streak for all of us,” says USAC’s Jason McCord. “The weather has been unseasonably cold and while we are disappointed by the delays we appreciate the efforts of our race organizer partners in working toward the rescheduling.”

Levi Jones won last year’s race at U.S. 36 Raceway, while Bryan Clauson won last year’s inaugural USAC Sprint race in Nebraska.

The AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series resumes with an MSCS co-sanctioned race May 11 at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.
